From the very beginning the Brown family has asked only for prayers. Many thousands of prayers were prayed during the the most difficult time immediately following Caleb’s injury. And now that the Browns have began the second part of their journey at Scottish Rite, their request is still only for prayer. Caleb’s Father started what he called The Prayer For Caleb Project\ right after they arrived at Scottish Rite. The project’s stated aim is to get the word out as much as possible about Caleb and to get as many people as they can to pray for him. Below you will find information on that Prayer Project.
Also there are two main funds that have been set up, a trust fund that is strictly to help the Brown family with medical expenses and another fund set up by 180 Degrees Ministries in Murfreesboro, TN to help with other related costs. Below you will find the information for these funds.
The Pray For Caleb Project
From Tim’s Facebook Post: “Ok, so here is the major prayer project I talked about. For those of you looking for something to do, here is what I request….lets make the second part of this journey just as prayer filled as the first part. Lets continue to get the word out about prayer.
Things you can do: 1.) Make sure Caleb is on all your local churches prayer lists in your community. 2.) Call all your friends and make sure they are praying. 3.) Google the largest 100 churches in the U.S. and see if they will put him on their prayer lists. 4.) Call churches at random and see if they will add him to their prayer list. 5). Make a note to pray for Caleb once per day, twice per day, or more. 6.) See if any of your religious television programming would add him to their prayer concerns. 7. Post about Caleb on your Facebook or Twitter pages.
However you want to do it, we just want to keep the word out about prayer. When I look back over the last near month of our lives, we have gone from thinking that our son is going to die, to now thinking that he just might fully recover. I KNOW that it is all the result of God doing some amazing and wonderful things and I know that he is inviting all of us–he is inviting you–to participate with us in this amazing journey for his glory. God bless you all for your efforts, love, prayers, and concern for our little Caleb. You all mean so much to us.”
